MCC is the only community college in
North Carolina that offering an Associate's degree in Equine
Technology. The Equine curriculum is designed to prepare
students for professional positions within the Horse
Industry. The curriculum is either management or training
oriented, depending on the student's choice of concentrations, but
remains diverse enough to prepare graduates for the widest range of
